1. Press Brake Operator (FT)

We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator. This is a Full-Time position offering stability, a benefits package w/ free primary healthcare, excellent training, inspiring management, & a strong team environment.

Ideal candidates will have a working knowledge of machinery and be able to problem-solve, think critically, and succeed in a fast-paced environment. In addition, ideal candidates will be highly self-motivated, have great attention to detail, & exhibit a willingness to learn and train as a paid apprentice. 

Regular hours 4- 10 hour days 5:00AM- 3:30PM.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
•Demonstrated previous machine operator experience (2-4 years preferred)
•Mechanically-inclined  •Ability to read/interpret blueprints  

•Ability to read & follow work instructions.  •Basic computer literacy.  

•Basic knowledge of CNC equipment. •Work well independently & as part of a team.
•Ability to read gauges & other measurement tools to ensure tolerances.
•Ability to read measuring devices such as tape measure, protractor, caliper, & scale.
•Working knowledge of metal materials. 

•Proven attendance record w/ previous employers.
•Ability to properly & safely operate machinery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
•Operate press to make precision bends & punch steel using custom dies.
•Set dies in presses according to specific setup instructions.
•Quality check parts using checking devices and fixtures.
•Inspect materials produced for quality & conformance; correct any inconsistencies.
•Read blueprints •Read measuring devices(i.e.tape measure, protractor, caliper, & scale)
•Read & follow work instructions.
•Rotate to different work stations as production needs require.
•Program a press brake - ability to program each program step using tonnage mode, angle mode/absolute position. Training provided.
•Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. •Ability to stand for 8-10 hours.
•Produce materials according to specifications.
•Maintenance of machine & cleaning of machine & surrounding area.

Ideal candidates will have a strong working knowledge of machinery & be able to problem-solve, think critically, & succeed in a fast-paced environment. In addition, ideal candidates will be highly self-motivated, have great attention to detail, & exhibit a willingness to learn and train as a paid apprentice.
